Improving our lives and communities, together.

Convicts of Diversified Empowerment (C.O.D.E.) is a non-profit organization based in Miami, Florida, that helps returning citizens find the resources and support they need to reenter society. We are dedicated to ending the discrimination against and disenfranchisement of people with convictions.

By participating in this type of program, former inmates can become better aligned with strengths and skills to successfully manage the challenges they face as they reintegrate back into the community. C.O.D.E.’s goal is to assist them in becoming law-abiding citizens in their communities.

C.O.D.E. is a model that provides much needed, free support to former inmates who have limited resources on their journey to a new chapter of life.

Our vision is inspiring success by transforming one life at a time.

We understand what it’s like to start over. You’re not alone.

“It’s like any growth. You can’t be ready for it because it’s growth. It’s going to be new. You’re going to have a new life. You’re going to be a new person.”

— Jerry Seinfeld

C.O.D.E. was founded in 2020 by Antonio Goodman, who himself reintegrated after incarceration in 2009. Ever since then, his mission has been to support those on a similar journey.
